Object of the Game
The aim of Blackjack is get a hand total as close to 21 as possible, without going over 21, and for your hand total to be more than the dealer's hand.
When the game starts, you and the dealer will each be dealt 2 cards.
You always go first, and the dealer goes second.
Card values
Cards 2-10 are worth their face value.
Picture cards are worth 10 points.
An Ace is worth either 1 or 11 points.
Hit
If your total is less than 21 and you want to receive another card, click Hit (or press the "H" key on your keyboard). You will receive another card, and your hand total will be updated.
You can hit as many times as you want, but remember, you lose if your hand total goes over 21.
Stay
If you do not want to receive another card, click Stay (or press the "S" key on your keyboard). It is then the dealer's turn.
Dealer's turn
The dealer will automatically deal itself more cards until it reaches a total of 17 or more.
Winner
If your hand total is greater than the dealer's total, you win the game and score 1 point.
If the dealer's hand total is greater than yours, or the scores are tied, the dealer wins and scores 1 point.
Restart
If you want to play again, or restart the game, click Restart (or press the "R" key on your keyboard).
Reset scores
If you want to reset the scores, click Reset Score (or press the "E" key on your keyboard).
